One month blogiversary!

Cardigan: Alternative Apparel
T-shirt: Thrifted (orig. H&M)
Lace skirt: Target
Boots: Steve Madden
Belt: Forever 21

I can't believe I've only been blogging for a month now, but I totally love it and am SOOOOO thankful for my awesome readers and fellow bloggers that have been super supportive and nice to a blogging n00b like me.

Since it's such a special occasion, I wanted to take my pictures today somewhere that has a special meaning to me, and what's better than where I got married? I had my wedding reception at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center down on the Seattle waterfront back in the summer of 2007. LOVED IT.

And because I love you, here are some pictures from the reception....

And that totally ties in to my blog, because I loved those aqua blue lanterns SO MUCH. So much, that I named my blog after them.

But this morning, I didn't have fancy schmancy wedding photographers following me around, so outfit pictures were a little more difficult to take. I even asked two random ladies to snap quick photos for me (that didn't turn out well due to the strong sunlight). That's how desperate I was to get a good photo! Plus, I totally went out of my way to go there on my way to work, so I was pretty determined to not make it a waste of time.

Anyway, thank you all for sticking around and visiting my blog! Your visits and comments really mean a lot to me. :) Here are some more pictures from this morning because it was just gorgeous out. The first one was taken from in front of my parents house (I told you they had a nice view) and the second two were at Bell Harbor.

  1. Congrats on one month, you have such a professional blog in spite of your newness to blogger (I guess the fact that you are a web designer helps. :) ). Love your wedding pictures, so beautiful.

Asking strangers to take your outfit photo is too cute. Wish I was brave enough to do that!

  9. Only one month? You seem seasoned! I'm still in that awkward new kid in school phase and I've been walking thus hall fir a few months.

I recognize that skirt. I missed the memo about that one. It's such a great one!

    Awesome weddings pics. Beautiful, really!

  10. Happy blogiversary! You're doing a great job and I adore the photos you have up from you wedding. Those lanterns are beautiful and very much worthy of having your blog named after them!

Great way to wear that skirt too! I have it, but feel like I burned out a bit on it during the 30 for 30 challenge. Time to get it out again and keep wearing it :-)

  12. Happy 1 month!! Keep up with the excellent posting, even in this hard-to-photograph winter season. I love your wedding pictures and those blue paper lanterns are very unique yet classy.

I also love how you layered your top. The blue is a really nice pop of color and the belt adds a nice flair to your figure. Lovely!
