I accidentally set my alarm super early today, and didn't realize until after I had already showered (or else I totally would have jumped back into bed). So, I took the extra time to try out Linley's hair tutorial. I tried her upside-down curling for the pieces on the side of my face, but I couldn't do it right, so I just kind of gave up and curled it normally. And I kind of like the curls intact, so I didn't do the scrunching at the end. And my curling iron is smaller... so yeah, a lot of excuses to why my hair doesn't look as awesome as hers... but at least I tried!
I've had this shirt for a few years now, and I've worn it once or twice (but under a cardigan or sweater), because I used to think that it was too loud (so bright! so shiny!), but I'm totally loving it today... except for that darn side zipper that refuses to be tucked smoothly into my skirt. So no, that is not my muffin top. It's my zipper, I swear!
By the way, I just made the most amazing meatloaf last night. YUM.

Your hair looks beautiful. Those curls look so perfect!
ReplyDeleteAnd I really like the top, can't believe you've never worn it alone before! I love the color but I know what you mean about the side zipper - that's one of my biggest pet peeves with shirts! You still look gorgeous though. :)

Your hair looks great in curls! Why don't you just perm it so you don't have to worry about curling it all the time?
