Total Eclipse of the Heart

I think today was the very first time it was raining as I took my outfit pictures (more like sprinkling)... you would think it would be super rainy here, but I guess it hasn't been too bad in the past month. It was also FREEZING and I didn't want to take my jacket off.

This picture was taken on the edge of the Olympic Sculpture Park overlooking the Puget Sound. I found a few more good picture locations today on my lunch-time excursion, so I'm excited to come back again next time. It's been so much fun exploring the city around me looking for good places to take photos. In the five years that I've worked in this area, I've probably ventured out to these super-close tourist attractions maybe once or twice. Blogging has totally let me explore the area and appreciate how beautiful this city is!

Did anyone see the lunar eclipse tonight? It's too cloudy to see anything from our house. :(

  1. I came back to your blog to see you had been tagged before, then realized that I had read your seven. Then unrealized that you had a new post.

    I forgot to look for the eclipse and now I'm tucked away in a warm bed. I like the sleeves on the top. Are they ruches or scrunched up?

    I know you're avoiding the market, but how fun would the bubble gum wall be? Or gross. Or both.

  4. I really, really need to get on board with the whole thrifting thing. I'm always so jealous when I see everyone else's adorable thrifted items, and there's a shop right down the street from my office, so I have no excuse! Other than the fact that I get overwhelmed looking at the racks upon racks of clothes with no clear direction in mind, but beyond that...no excuse.

    Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I love your skirt!

    Also, I can't stop singing 'turn around bright eyes' in a breathy voice in my head. So, thanks for that :)
