OK guys, I've finally made up my mind for my 30 for 30 picks. For those of you unfamiliar with this closet remix challenge, it was created by mastermind Kendi, and so you're supposed to pick 30 items of clothing, remix it into 30 outfits in 30 days. I'm going to be doing this for the month of February, and kind of nervous to begin!
I've picked a couple new things, and a couple old things, so hopefully everything will work out. Let me know if you're doing it too, so I can follow along. YAY!
Can't wait to see your outfits! I won't be participating this time around but look forward to seeing what everyone does.

ReplyDeleteI'm nervous too! Last time, I jumped in with both feet but I'm trying to not repeat pieces - except I'm kind of attached to my black skirts from last time so those may sneak in.

ReplyDelete@katrina/demure muse- Haha! It's funny because I originally only had one pair of pants in there. I feel like I'm wearing dresses and skirts A LOT more than pants these days. That's what fleece-lined tights are for! :D
ReplyDelete@Justine- yes, you caught me. I do have two of the exact same banana skirts because they are AWESOME. Well, I got the grey one first, and loved it, and then I saw the black one (in petites sizing), and I kind of like that one better (a bit shorter). But both are definitely staples in my closet right now!

ReplyDeleteI want to participate but I can't help but feel that with the number of items in my closet... I need a challenge of a different kind. Challenge myself to go without re-wearing my favourite pieces so that I can weed out the items hanging in my closet that don't work.

ReplyDeleteVery nice 30 for 30 collection. I will be wearing AG jeans as well -- they are my fav right now. Purchased them at the Goodwill as I did the other 29 garments/shoes I will be remixing. How fun! Can't wait to see what you do.
