Black & Blue

[30 for 30: Outfit 10]
Shirt: Target
Skirt: Banana Republic Factory Store
Tights: c/o We Love Colors
Flats: Target

My post title is a tribute to one of my favorite Backstreet Boys albums (with Millennium being my top favorite, though). I had no idea that the group stayed together and came out with albums in 2005, 2007 and 2009.. but I checked the recent albums out from the public library (my days of illegal downloading songs are over) and I'll just say that I was slightly disappointed. I don't know, I guess their time is over, and has been for awhile now. Still a fan of the 1999 Backstreet Boys though.

I pulled this skirt out of my pile the other day to try to match up outfits, and I'm really glad I did. There was a huge 2 inch long gaping hole on the back seam! It was HUGE, and right under where the zipper ended. I hope I wasn't exposing myself to anyone the last time(s) I wore it! How embarrassing. :(

  9. Very cute outfit! Yikes about the hole. Did make me giggle a bit, since I had done that with a pair of pants in the inseam. I was sooo embarrased when I noticed while sitting at my desk.

    Happy Friday.

  12. You look great! I hate finding clothes with holes in them - I'm so lazy I never end up getting fixed so then just end up in a huge "to take to a tailor" pile.

  15. I am home early tonight from work because a super creepy guy in the McDonalds parking lot told me I had a big rip in the back of my skirt all while giving me 2 thumbs up and smiling maniacally.

Ugh. I think I made his year with my orange-hearted undies.

  18. I'm actually loving the BLACK & BLUE top the most! These tops are usually worn casually with jeans but you make it look really cute by pairing it with a skirt - and God forbid - BLUE tights?! Genius-ness.

  21. i like this sort of casual style shirt with this skirt. it looks great.

I was thinking about that era of bands the other day and while listening to hanson and thinking... "who knew hanson would be the band from then that's still making incredible music and performing." It's funny to think about.
