I wore my polka-dots today and I trekked out to Seattle Center to take my outfit pictures, but then I balanced my camera on a not-too-stable table and it was super windy, so guess what happened? My camera toppled over, the lens thing got dented and now it can't retract back into the camera. I'm super sad because I heart this little camera SO MUCH. Anyway, since it's pretty new, it's still under warranty so I'll be sending it to the Canon repair fairy, and hopefully get it back in two or three weeks.
In the meantime, I won't be doing too many outfit posts (if at all). But here are my polka-dots to prove that I participated in
Everybody Everwear day. I know. I hate iPhone pictures too.
I should not be trusted with expensive equipment. See that ugly blue iPhone cover? It's a replacement for the fancy cover I had which cracked after being dropped way too many times.
Boo! That happened to me exactly. Poor little camera has been sitting there with the lens sticking out at an awkward angle for weeks (no warranty for me...).

ReplyDeleteAwww, so sorry Kimmie! The same thing happened to me. I was careless and dropped the camera, and the lens wouldn't retract again. It was a Canon too, so I blame Canon and not us. LOL

aww you look so sad, and it makes me so sad too! I hope your camera gets fixed real quick! On the upside, I heart your polka dot blouse.
ReplyDeleteOh no! That stinks, but at least it's still under warranty. If you don't do pictures for the next three weeks, you'll have to save up all your outfits, and take pictures of them all at once when the camera comes back, so we don't miss anything ;)

I am sorry about the camera situation. My camera broke before I went to Taiwan and ended up having to buy another one in Taipei.=/ Although, I couldn't document a few days while I was in Taiwan - bummer.

I had a camera break after it fell off a table once too. Unfortunately it was my cat that knocked it over and they said that wasn't covered under warranty. Boo!

oh no!!! I hate when I break my nice things! Look on the bright side, the phone is okay! I dropped my 3GS 3 days after getting it and shattered the screen. Luckily I was MUCH better with the second and now with the 4.
