Chambray shirt: Target
Jeans: J Brand Love Story in Jett
Clogs: Sam Edelman Faye
Belt: J.Crew
Belt: J.Crew
Vintage ivory necklace: Mom's
I tried on a pair of J Brand Love Story jeans a few weeks ago and just FELL IN LOVE with the fit and the awesome super-flared legs. Since I'm not a big fan of spending $180 on a pair of jeans (that's like my clothing budget for 3 and a half months right there!), I've been stopping by Nordstrom Rack every once in awhile to see if I can find a pair for a little cheaper. I must have been super lucky or something, because last week I found the only pair in the entire store, and it was in the clearance racks, IN MY SIZE, for only $50! If that's not a sign to buy something, then I don't know what is.
AND THEN, to add to my luck, the lovely Rose put up a blog sale last week and was selling these Sam Edelman clogs that were too big on her (but perfect for me!), so I was able to snag them for dirt cheap. They're the tallest shoes I've ever owned, and I almost rolled my ankle three times today because they're so narrow on the bottom, but I really really like them. Too bad these are the only pants long enough to wear with them (and I wouldn't mind an extra inch so they'd graze the ground), so I'm probably not going to be doing too much mixing around when it comes to these pants and shoes.
Do you like my necklace? I do. I stole it from my mom's jewelery stash a few years ago. I asked her if she wanted it back, but she said that I could just have it, so I guess it's mine now. Yep, I'm pretty lucky.
One last thing, I copied Andrea's photo location. It was kind of nice just stepping out of my car and snapping photos without having to walk a lot... which is a pretty crucial deciding factor at the end of the day when your feet are mad at you.
PS. Did you know that J.Crew does not have a space in between the J. and the Crew? I learn something new everyday.

Those jeans are AMAZINGGGG. And with the shoes, it looks like you have mile long legs!

ReplyDeleteDon't be mad but I'm super jealous of you. Like, green in the face with envy. I might have to enlist my husband in some babysitting so I can go scour Nordstrom Rack for these jeans because I've been wanting them for some time and you are ROCKING them. That's it, I'm not speaking to you for the next two seconds...until I go back to catching up on your blog.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'll keep my eyes open for you! I'm ALWAYS going to Nordstrom Rack (there are three that I frequent. I'm kind of obsessed) I'm still on the hunt for a dark wash pair. I love them so much! I hope flares stay in style forever and ever. :)
ReplyDeleteI think Emily was the only one who had been there before! It's a cute place. Hope you can make it out next time!!yhr
