Bracelets: H&M
I put up my Everybody Everywear post yesterday morning, saying that I was looking for some non-noisy bracelets. Cee immediately responded telling me I should go check out H&M. I was too impatient to wait until the end of the day, so I took the bus downtown in the middle of my workday (hey, it's just my late lunch break!) and picked these up from H&M.
I originally was kind of hesitant to spend $10 on a bunch of bracelets I could have easily made with some stretchy string and beads from the craft store, but I'm just too lazy. It would have taken a few weeks for me to get around to buying the materials, and then they'd sit in my room for about 6 months before I would actually make something, and by then I would have lost interest in wearing them. I'm all about instant gratification.
I was so excited about these though, that I put them on as soon as I got back to the office, and I love how they complimented my (pretty boring) outfit. I'm still working on getting a bigger stack of bracelets on my arm, but these will do for now. And they'd better, because I'm probably going to be wearing them everyday from now on out.

I love this look - so simple and classic!
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! I can't wait until the H&M opens in our mall!
ReplyDeleteCome take a look inside A Working Mom's Closet
I've always loved jeans and white shirt combos--not boring at all!
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes!! I wish Austin had an H&M. Or Texas for that matter. Word on the street is that Dallas is getting one in late 2011. I can't wait!!
ReplyDeletei'm such a sucker for instant gratification too! it's not often that i get into a crafting mood so i usually will just end up paying money for something i know i could make, lol. these bracelets look great on you and i'm absolutely loving these jeans on you!
ReplyDeletecute & little
I like your outfit a lot - it is simple but very flattering. These jeans look like a perfect fit.

ReplyDeleteGreat layout of your images, by the way!
I really love your outfit! It's so simple and put together. I'm not sure if it's my screen, but it's a little hard to see the details of your top. Hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI love the throw-back to the 70s vibe you got going on here, down to the long straight hair. You look terrific!

Haha! I tried to take some close-ups, but they didn't turn out too well. There's always next time! :)
ReplyDeleteI know, sometimes it's nice to wear a simple outfit, instead of trying to layer and accessorize :) That gets tiring!
I know! My shirt looks super washed out in all the pictures even after I tried editing them to have a better contrast. I guess I need to learn to take better pictures, haha. I tried though! :(
ReplyDeleteI love H&M but I hate the advertising. They always have those big ads that say, "swimsuit top $4.95" and you go to the store, and only one style is 4.95, and the rest of them are $14.95 each. And this one time, they had this one toddler shirt advertised at like $5, and we couldn't find it anywhere. All of the shirts were at least $15! The prices aren't as crazy cheap as they advertise. :(
ReplyDeleteOh, that makes me sad. But it's VERY good to know before they open! These
ReplyDeleteare things I need people to tell me so thank you! :)
