[Summer 30 for 30: Outfit 4]
Top: Banana Republic (hand-me-down)
Jeggings: Target
Blazer: Elevenses (thrifted)
Flats: Target
Necklace: Loft
Necklace: Loft
When I picked my items for the 30 for 30 challenge, it was a sunny day with no rain in sight. I decided to only go with 5 pairs of shoes, with four of them being open-toed sandals. I had not anticipated rain over the course of the next 30 days, which is kind of stupid given that I live in Seattle.
Well, it kind of sucked when it rained and I only had one pair of closed toe shoes to choose from. I had already put on my outfit of black and blue that morning, and the soft gold flats just did not work. I needed black flats, so I'm going to be doing a little swapping, I just haven't decided with what though.
I met with Emily for lunch and we were both wearing the exact same outfit, but she wore her super cute nude pumps and I had boring black flats. But other than that, we were pretty much twins.
P.S. My little guy loves to "take pitcher" with mommy, except when he doesn't get to press the button or set up the tripod, as evidenced by the second photo.

Boooo rain! Your little one is too cute... my girl is just starting to say funny things; cracks me up. Sending you sunny skies from Florida!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Perhaps having your little guy in photos is a way to feel less
ReplyDeleteself conscious about photos in highly-trafficked public places! :) He's also quite stylish and so cute.
Did the gold flats really not work? I find metallics to be a neutral (then again, there is a high likelihood that I look silly).
Aw, what a cutie! That last photo is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI like the blazer/top combo too...
awww i love that pix of him crying lol
ReplyDeleteLOL your little man is soooo cute! Kimmie I LOVE this outfit, the blazer fits you so well!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, your little guy is absolutely adorable!! Even when he's crying, you must just laugh because that's the cutest little cry I've ever seen! lol
ReplyDeleteYour black flats look totally cute with your skinnies and blazer! I love it all together!
Kimmie this is adorable! Your son is precious!
ReplyDeleteYour son is absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteIs it evil of me that I can't stop giggling at pitcher #2? I'm sorry but he is just too precious, even while devastated!!
ReplyDeleteI love when your little guy is in your photos with you. These are adorable!

That happened to me too! I'm still holding out until I really need to add a blazer. It's getting rough.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
That 2nd picture so him crying is too precious and is making me LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love the last picture of you two... perfect mother/son moment.
Don't slap me, but I completely laughed out loud at the second pic. It's so random compared to the other ones hahaha XD P is growing up so fast!
ReplyDeleteYes! It's easier in a way to take pictures with him, because I don't worry about random people seeing us, and it's fun, too! But it's also annoying because he HAS to press the button and set up the tripod, and it's just so time consuming and I freak out that he's going to tip it over and break the camera.
ReplyDeleteHaha, this is one of his least stylish outfits, because I had just picked him up from grandma's house. He gets so dirty over there that we never have him wear anything cute. :)
And I think gold flats would have worked, but I felt that my clothes was all very "dark" and I felt weird having light colored shoes. If I had been wearing a white or light colored shirt, then the gold flats would have been more balanced. Just my opinion though!
Hahaha I know. his little cry is just too funny because it's like the end of the world for him, yet he'll start laughing just two seconds later.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I added a blazer! We have more rain coming our way this week :(
ReplyDeletePitchers - ha! So cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the cropped blazer with this outfit and that blue is great on you.
I really love that top...it's such a pretty color on you.
ReplyDeleteAnd that last picture of you and P might be one of the cutest things I've ever seen...you guys are too cute :)

ReplyDeletei ended up throwing boots i my 30, even though it's summer, because i knew it was gonna get cold out here and that i would still get good wear out of them. i am so glad i did because it's supposed to rain tomorrow (and i've worn them the last few days because it's chilly!). ridiculous!!!
