Dress: Old Navy
In June, I bought the Old Navy Groupon deal, which was $10 for a $20 voucher, and I thought, "sure why not? I shop at Old Navy all the time!" but man! I went to Old Navy EVERY week in that month and a half trying to find something to use my Groupon on, and I could not find anything for the life of me. Finally, the day before it expired, I went for one last time, and spent way too long trying to figure out what to buy. Ideally, I'd get something on sale or clearance, and something as close to $20 as I could. I did really like this dress, but I'd still have to pay an additional $15 ($20 with tax) on top of the $10 I already spent... um, no thanks.
Finally, my husband told me to "just pick something already so we can go to Target," and I was forced to buy the first thing I saw that was over $20 without trying it on. I was surprised I had never even noticed this dress in all my times of browsing the store, but I really like it!
The dress is a modest length and made with super comfy jersey material, perfect for the delayed summer we're getting. Doesn't look like they have many sizes left on the website, but last I checked, they still have a bunch in the stores. :)

i think this could be one of my most favourite outfits from you. i want this dress so very badly but my size online is out of stock. :(!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so pretty! I love it with the mustard cardi!
ReplyDeleteSO cute, Kimmie! I love it with the mustard cardi. I also like that your husband was the one itching to go to Target...
ReplyDeleteI love this dress! Great choice!! : )
ReplyDeleteVery cute!! You have the color blocking thing going on! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your necklace, too!
That's an adorable dress! I can't believe it's from Old Navy, actually. I love the structure and colors!
ReplyDeleteNice find! Loving the colors in this outfit too.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is so pretty! I bought the groupon too, but ended up letting DH use it because I couldn't find one thing I wanted.
ReplyDeleteI love this dress. It's so cute and I can't believe its from Old Navy. I bought that Groupon too a while back and went to the store on a whim to use it. I hadn't realized that it was a 75% off sale at the store and I picked up a cardigan for $6 and my husband bought boxers for $2 each! All in all it was a great buy.
ReplyDeleteIf you're interested there's an online Living Social deal for Land's End Canvas, $30 for $60. And if you get three people to buy from your link, it could be yours for free!

Huh, how have I never seen that dress at Old Navy? Obviously, they hide the good clothes in Seattle :)
ReplyDeleteI think I ended up spending my Groupon on sports bras or something. Necessary, but boring. Boo!
I think Old Navy can be hit or miss. But that dress is great! I've been having trouble finding ones I like at a modest length as you mention - for a girl as short as me, you wouldn't think it would be a problem....
ReplyDeleteReally great color combination--gray, black and yellow combination is one of my faves. I love that this dress looks like separates. Kudos to your Hubby for "rushing" you out the store, perhaps you would have made a different decision. Wise choice, ma' dear!

this dress IS fantastic! I love the length of it, the colour and the material... looks like I know what I'll be up to tomorrow ;)
ReplyDeleteAlso, your mustard cardigan is mocking me. I just love it so much, I wish it would stop showing off like that!
