Stocking Stuffer wishlist

Hi husband. I'm aware that you have no idea what to put in my stocking for Christmas, so I put together a few ideas of things that I like:

  1. Silver rhinestone necklace - $25
  2. Knit panda slippers - $5
  3. Polka dot scarf - $15
  4. Fleece lined tights - $7 (available at Nordstrom Rack)
  5. Julep Winter Collection nail polish - $34
  6. Pearl bracelet set - $30
  7. Stacked rings - $6
  8. White T-Shirt  - $15
  9. Bobby Pins - $3
Bobby pins? Yes, these bobby pins (from Sally Beauty Supply) are the best bobby pins in the entire world. I cry when I lose them, they are that amazing.

  1. Well, now you have me super-intrigued about . . . bobby pins. I don't cry over losing mine and now feel like I might be missing out.

  5. I love how
light an airy that polka dot scarf is! And fleece lined tights are a must! I
just got 2 pairs from Burlington Coat Factory, wore them over Thanksgiving, and
my legs thanked me ;). I've been hearing great things about Julep -- you should
ask for a subscription and receive nail polish monthly ;). And pretty stacked
rings! LOL on the bobby pins. I haven't used one in ages! Hope the hubs reads
this and gets the very obvious hint ;). Happy holidays!

  8. These are seriously my favorite bobby pins in the entire world. A bit pricey ($3 for 36 pins) but they have never gotten bent out of shape or too loose, the tips don't peel off and snag my hair, they don't get rusty. I know the Conair or whatever ones are super cheap, but I feel like I use those once or twice and they lose their grip. I totally recommend these! But don't buy the mini ones, those are kind of pointless.

  10. I don't paint my nails enough to need a nail polish subscription (I paint them like once every few months, lol) and aren't fleece lined tights amazing? I never used to want to wear skirts/dresses when it was cold out, but now it's bearable :)

  11. Haha, I'm so bad in that I am really picky in what I want for presents (from my husband, at least) so we usually pick out our own presents and just say that it's from each other. Stocking stuffers are the only thing that is really up in the air. I never know what will be in there until Christmas day!

  12. White T's are on my wish list too! They're unbelievably so basic, but so hard to find the perfect one.

  13. ... why did you show me these panda slippers?? i will have to fight the urge of stopping by F21 on the way home today lol

  15. Fleece lined tights?!? How have I been missing out on these? Those Julep polishes are really pretty. I have my toes painted all the time, but rarely paint my fingernails. Butter London polishes are my favorite... a bit pricey, but the only expensive brand I've tried that really does seem to last longer/chip less than lesser priced brands. Let me know what you think of Julep if/when you try it out!

  16. Wow! I was going to ask what makes them so special, but you've clearly answered that here. I may have to give them a try ;)

  19. Yeah! I love the fleece lined tights, though they do get pilly pretty easily so it's nice to have a few extra pairs. I have both S/M and M/L and actually prefer the M/L size so I can wear them higher and avoid baggy crotch LOL. And Forever 21 has free shipping today with no minimum! I love when they do that, because I don't have to brave the crowds and unorganized racks :)

  20. Painting fingernails is always a waste of time because I'm so bad at it, and it's always streaky or uneven. Last time I painted them, they got all smeared when I had to go hold my kid before they fully dried, and I never bothered re-painting. I have two Julep polishes that I got months ago but I haven't even opened them yet! But yeah, the expensive polishes do seem to last longer and look better than the revlon/sally hansen ones that are super cheap at the drugstore.

And fleece lined tights are AWESOME!

  21. You should try Kensington Caviar topcoat... it dries in under a minute and creates a really glossy finish. Definitely makes a difference in decreasing chips/scratches in the polish. Here is the link:

  22. Awhile back I bought the Seche Vite topcoat at the recommendation of another blogger but hadn't gotten around to using it. I finally bit the bullet and painted my nails tonight, and OMG using a top coat makes such a huge difference! I may start painting my nails more frequently now :)

  23. Nice! I just bookmarked Seche Vita so I can try it out when my Kensington topcoat runs out. Have a great weekend! :)
