Jeans: Forever 21
Boots: Steve Madden
Tee: Target
I wore this exact outfit on the blog almost two years ago, and even though it was with a different pair of skinny jeans and undershirt, it was essentially the same thing (warning: crappy pictures to insult your eyes in that post). I would hope that my "style" would evolve after two years, but... if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I re-wear stuff all the time, I just don't usually take pictures of my duplicate outfits. Actually, more like "outfits" - air quoted because it's really just a cardigan and jeans and boots, so... yeah, nothing creative at all.

"OUTFIT"
The Take One, Pass It On challenge ended at the end of February, and this is my second-to-last outfit, I'm just behind on posting!
Day 11 of Take One, Pass It On!

LOL on that animated GIF! And yea, nothing broke at all! Love your accessible style!
ReplyDeleteAhh! Love this outfit so much! I love Old Navy cardigans, and this is so cute.
ReplyDeleteKimmie! I love your peachypink top and your booooots are amazing.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, Dr. Evil gets me every time. Why do you look so beautiful in that peach color!? Seriously, you are so dang cute all the freaking time. I love this outfit - simple and effortless, but so put-together.
ReplyDeletei love the details on this cardigan - so lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove that shade of pink on you. :) And I totally agree - why change something that works. :)
ReplyDeleteahahahah "oouttt fitttt"
ReplyDeleteWhile the older pictures aren't bad, the current ones are looking for sharp. Are you doing something new? Did you buy a $2000 camera and not tell us?!
that peach looks really pretty against your shiny hair.
Nope, still same camera, just the last set was taken when it was dark and raining, and I was in a covered parking garage, while these were taken with the perfect amount of sun/overcast ratio so they are extra sharp without the super-sunny eye-squint. I wish everyday had soft lighting like this.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure your hair can look just as shiny when you slather coconut oil all over it, LOL J/K. gross, I don't even want to imagine how that feels.
I love the satin-edging of the cardigan! Blush-like colors are super in for spring I've heard, so as far as I'm concerned, this cardigan must be brand new and you're ahead of the trends. 10 points for Kimmie.
ReplyDeleteI hear you Kimmie - sometimes I feel like some of my "outfits" are the same just a top with a pencil skirt. It's a great cardi and nothing wrong with re-wearing the same outfit :)

Simple and cute outfits are worth repeating. :) That blush color is so pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteOh those boots! So adorable! And I think posting similar outfits should be a requirement of fashion blogging - I hated looking at blogs that never wore the same things...I knew I couldn't live a life like that - but rewearing a similar style - that I can do!!
ReplyDeleteKimmie, you look so pretty in this peach cardigan! I love that you look super feminine even though you are in jeans and boots.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I put coconut oil on my hair and cover it with a shower cap and blast it with the hair dryer once a month. :( Am I weird? I love the way my hair smells afterwards. Meh...
I love that cardi on you! And I re-wear outfits all. the. time. I just don't take blog pics of them either - sometimes when you find something so fabulous (or so simple and classic!) it must be repeated! :)

This outfit is totally worth re-wearing. I love the contrast between the girly cardigan and the more rugged looking boots.
ReplyDeleteLove love love that cardigan!
ReplyDeleteI love the cardigan! Such a cute color :) And I re-wear outfits all the time. I guess I haven't posted them on my blog again... but maybe I should! I literally take a mental snapshot of what I'm wearing if I really love it. Why not?! It makes life so much easier to get ready in the morning if you have no clue what to wear.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a classic look. You could probably keep re-wearing this outfit for years!

Noooo, you're not weird. I was just talking with Fran yesterday about how she tried coconut oil in her hair and she just felt like a big greaseball and her hair felt gross all day.
ReplyDeleteI used to hate anything coconutty when I was little, but now I LOOOOVE it. can't get enough of it! Except for coconut flakes, I still haven't gotten around to those yet.
I know! I used to think that blogging was all about wearing brand new clothes and never repeating stuff, but lately I've just tried focusing on just putting together outfits with things that are already in my closet, instead of trying to run out and buy the latest "it" item or color.
ReplyDeleteYes! 10 points for me!!
ReplyDeleteBut... aren't blush-like colors in for spring, like, every year? It's funny that every season they bring back these brand new "trends" but it's just recycled year after year. Florals and pastels in the spring! Bright colors for the summer! burgundy in the fall! OKAY.
Such a simple and easy look - I'd rewear it to! You can't go wrong with the classics!
