A couple months ago, I was searching for the perfect black flats (post here) and found the Target ones that I now wear ALL THE TIME. I cannot recommend them more! They are genuine leather, and are SUPER comfortable, and fit pretty true to size (but tend to be a bit snug towards the end of the day when my feet seem to swell a little). At the time, I also really wanted the mint pair (which reminded me of a Calvin Klein pair that I had drooled over a few months ago at Macy's) but they were sold out of my size when they had the buy one get one 50% off promo. A few weeks later, they were marked down to $30 from $40, but I wanted to wait until I saved up enough gift cards to buy them, and thought that they'd go on sale sooner or later.
I saved up enough in gift cards shortly after (from buying a lot of diapers), and I checked the Target website first thing every Sunday for a few months straight yet they NEVER went on sale! Of course. When I finally started to lose hope of ever owning them, I came across the original Calvin Klein pair at Nordstrom Rack! They were a full size larger than what I normally wear, but they were the only pair in the store that I could find, so I decided to just try them on, and what do you know? They actually fit really well. My normal size would have been way too tight. Maybe my feet have grown? Who knows.
I guess if you wait it out long enough, something will pop up eventually. I checked the Target website just now, and surprise! They're FINALLY on sale again for $30! I know it sounds like a lot for Target shoes, but they are totally worth it, trust me. I don't need the mint pair anymore, but hello new nude/tan flats :)
